We aren’t a "modeling school", we have no contracts, we don’t cost a small fortune, we don't put 30 people in a 'class' and we don't try to upsell you on more classes. We work with each person as an individual. That means you learn more, faster and it is all about you.

Modeling Schools are,well... what they are. They want you to sign up for a couple of months of 'classes' so you can learn how to do the things models do. Then they have even more classes, or 'advanced' classes, where you are told you will learn even more. And then at the end they pitch the 'photo shoot' at you. Total cost in the thousands of dollars. Or even more. And in the end, modeling really is all about the pictures. After a year of school they haven't even taken your picture?

We think there is a better way. A more realistic way to get going in this business. Most famous models never attended modeling school. They were 'discovered' doing things that all of us do anyway. Shopping, dining, playing on the beach... whatever. A photographer or scout sees them and they are whisked off for a viewing by an agency owner. If they like the models look, they are signed and then sent to work with 'testing' photographers. Bottom line stuff is really this. Do they look good in pictures? That is really all that is important. Not what school or 'training' they got.

At Phoenix Model Development we work with prospective models to get them to understand what will be expected of them, and to expect what the photographers want. We show them makeup skills, posing techniques, style tips, portfolio strategies, and more... all while enveloped in a full, professional photo shoot. And the model leaves with a portfolio of images, a video of makeup tips and ideas, poses that work, and a strong understanding of the modeling business as well as tips on succeeding in this highly competitive industry. In other words... a great start without spending a ton-o-cash or being upsold on more and more classes.
